University Recruiting Program Manager

Responsible for managing global recruitment projects relating to operations optimisation. I had introduced a workforce planning solution for global leaders to improve overall strategic alignment. I am also responsible for providing data analytics support and reports for global executives (EVP-Level) to support business decisions. In the later phase of my role, I also manage and support Asia Pacific team in business operations and data analytics on workforce planning matters, system adoption and change management within the team. I am also seconded to Global HR Services Team to land a new recruiting platform in the Asia Pacific, Greater China and Japan region and manage Recruiting Associates in Asia (excluding India).

University Recruiter Intern

Responsible for the team operations and data analytics to drive business objective and priorities. During my term, I had initiated the restructuring of existing data and introduce new analysis strategic to help aid decision making in vital areas of university recruitment function. These functions include data analysis of APAC MBA talent flow, an overview of campus heat map, mapping of the talent pipeline from internship programme and data analysis of hiring trends and target forecasting. I had also developed an Asia Pacific University Recruiting Hub to computerise the operations work of handling business requirements, interns development and full-time hiring operations. At the same time, I am also responsible for the intern development for SEA region and managed the SEA Intern Learning Week at Malaysia (in 2015) and Bangkok (in 2016).

Technical Marketing Intern

Responsible for driving Windows Phone & Windows 8 student developer eco-system for Asia (excluding Japan and China). In the 1st Quarter of Microsoft Fiscal Year (June 2012 – August 2012), managed to drive 40% of the overall KPI for Windows 8 application through student developers created applications. Partnered with Public Sector for Project Rainmaker, where we developed accelerator pack for subsidiary across the region to redefine the government to business, government to people and government to government engagement through Windows 8 Application. This project was well received by subsidiary across the region and also been adopted as a case-study by Microsoft HQ for landing in other regions.

Program Specialist Intern

Responsible for driving the academic initiative from the Developer & Platform Evangelism Group for Singapore Subsidiary. One of my key portfolio, the Microsoft Student Partners community grow from 50 to 90 over Student Partners in 2012. In 2011, over 11,000 students were engaged in activities, workshop, etc. I had led a team to organise the inaugural technology conference – techfest for higher institution student which drew a crowd of 1,000 attendees. I was also part of a team which kick-start a marketing campaign within a week of preparation, to gather over 10,000 students engaged onto the Microsoft College Connect Facebook Page within the 3 weeks long campaign.

Chairman of Sengkang Central Community Welfare & Development Funds Committee

Oversee welfare initiatives for Sengkang Central division and managing a network of community partners. Also, launched new Community Voucher and Empowerment Schemes to further support residents.

Chairman of Punggol Community Club Youth Executive Committee

Elected as Chairman in Sep 2013 and served as the General Secretary (Oct 2011 – Sep 2013), the committee was awarded the Most Improved Youth Club Award (2017) and Meritorious Youth Club Award (2017 and 2018). Also, spearheaded a biennial leadership development programme - Project Ignite for youths that started in 2014.
